The Workflow
How does the design process work?
Our goal is to act as your studio's silent production partner. Once you submit your project details and gallery link via our inquiry form, we’ll reach out to confirm your design queue. Our team then hand-curates your images into an editorial layout. You will receive a digital proof to review; once approved, we handle the final production and shipping directly to your studio or your client.
What is the turnaround time?
We value your studio’s timeline. Once we receive your clients gallery, you will typically receive your initial design proof within 5 business days. After your final approval, production and express shipping from our Auckland studio generally takes 7-10 business days.
Can I request changes to the design proof?
Yes. Your professional rate includes one round of refinements to ensure the curation perfectly aligns with your studio’s aesthetic. We want you to feel completely confident in the layout before it goes to print.
The Specifications
What is the quality and finish of the publication?
We produce high-end, archival-quality magazines designed for longevity. We use premium, heavyweight paper stock with a durable finish, perfect for a luxury coffee table centerpiece. Crucially, we use PUR binding—the strongest adhesive glue available—ensuring your magazine is significantly more durable than standard consumer products.
What file format should I provide?
To ensure the highest print quality, please provide high-resolution JPEGs. As we curate directly from your professional galleries (Pixieset, Pic-Time, etc.), we handle the technical side of the exports to ensure the resolution meets our studio standards.
Is the design fixed or customizable?
While we use our signature editorial frames to maintain a cohesive and professional finish, our designers thoughtfully arrange every image by hand. We do not use "auto-fill" templates; we adapt the layout to suit your specific imagery, orientations, and storytelling style.
Shipping & Business
Do you ship directly to my clients?
Yes. We can ship orders directly to your studio for personal delivery, or we can white-label the shipping to go straight to your client’s door. Every order is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in pristine, gift-ready condition. Please see the section on Packaging options for more information.
What is your policy on reprints?
We take immense pride in our craftsmanship. If a publication arrives with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 3 days with photos of the issue for a priority reprint. Please note that once a digital proof is approved by you, we are not responsible for errors in the provided text or content.
